Position: Process / Senior Process Engineer

Nationality: Preferably Chinese speaking Singaporean or Malaysian (Read, Write, Speak).

Required years of experience:  5-10 Years involved in similar offshore oil and gas projects experience

Job Overview:

As a Process Engineer within Oil & Gas EPC project team, it will be responsible for the design, optimization, and implementation of process systems and equipment critical to the Bul Haine project. This includes developing process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and performing process simulations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, cause and effect diagrams, and process specifications.
• Conduct process simulations and hydraulic calculations to optimize system performance.
• Liaise with mechanical, piping, structural, and instrumentation teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Evaluate and select equipment such as pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and valves.
• Participate in process safety studies, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Support procurement by preparing datasheets and vendor document reviews.
• Provide technical input during construction, commissioning, and startup phases.
• Prepare process design reports, operation manuals, and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-10 years of experience in process engineering within offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and CAD tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards like API, ASME, and relevant safety regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

• 5-10 years’ relevant experience in process design, preferably in offshore oil & gas projects.
• Proficiency with P&ID design software and process design documentation standards.
• Strong understanding of process engineering fundamentals and industry codes (API, ANSI, IEC).
• Good communication skills for effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
